I am a sun-loving early-riser who lives for morning walks, is fiercely devoted to family and friends, and dreams of growing all my favorite fruits and veggies in a backyard garden one day. When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me working on recipes (+ filming them), at a pilates class, or making a detailed itinerary with a dedicated Google map for my next trip. I currently reside in Miami, FL with my partner and our mini aussiedoodle, Meli.
I’m Sarah, a Registered Dietitian deeply passionate about finding ways to optimize your health through a personalized and integrative approach to nutrition and lifestyle.
I attended the University of Southern California where I pursued a major in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Upon graduation, I shifted gears and joined the Partnerships team at a fast-paced health food e-commerce startup in LA, where I learned the ins and outs of growing a mission-driven health and wellness company while ensuring access to wholesome foods at an affordable cost.
Driven by a desire to delve deeper into nutrition and disease prevention, I pursued my dream of becoming a Dietitian, where I could merge my love for food, scientific curiosity, and aspiration to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
I completed the Didactic Program in Dietetics and Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition at New York University, and was selected by NewYork-Presbyterian's prestigious Dietetic Internship program, which I successfully completed. During my time at the Clinical Nutrition Residency at NYP, I provided evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and counseling to a diverse patient population across large academic medical centers like NYP Weill Cornell and NYP Columbia in New York City. Now, when I’m not seeing patients with MSN, I work at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, serving as the lead dietitian to the Heart and Lung Transplant teams and the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary ICUs, providing nutritional care and counseling for critically ill and transplant patients.
During my time working with thousands of patients in the hospital setting, my fascination with utilizing food and lifestyle as tools for disease prevention evolved. Employing an integrative yet simplified approach, my goal is to guide you to take control of your health and to nourish your body from the inside out.
When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me at a pilates class, testing a new recipe, or planning my next adventure. I currently reside in Miami, FL with my partner and our mini aussiedoodle, Meli.
