You’ll quiet the diet chatter and make aligned choices in your diet and lifestyle. So you can lose weight in a loving way.

It feels like the nutrition world is split into two camps right now. One is “weight loss and diet culture.” The other is “intuitive eating and anti-weight loss at all costs.” Neither camp is individualized and it takes a delicate blend to achieve wellness. It’s okay if neither camp works for you (and it makes sense that they don’t!).

Body neutral weight loss is slow, individualized, compassionate, and shame-free. We acknowledge the biological facts surrounding certain foods and body functions, but we don’t assign “good” or “bad” labels to them.

Using a holistic approach, you’ll learn to befriend anxiety and use it to your advantage. So you can transform it and escape the struggle for good. 

Conventional anxiety treatments don’t get to the root cause. So even if you’ve been to 1000 appointments and received a dozen prescriptions...It’s no surprise if you still haven’t overcome it. This is largely because anxiety is both mental and physical. It’s a sign that something in the body needs more attention. Yet, conventional practices don’t treat it that way.

Wherever you’re at, there’s still hope. No matter how frequent or intense, we can heal stress using a holistic combination technique that supports mind, body, and spirit. In other words, you can literally change your thoughts with the foods you eat.

Hi! I’m Michelle, a Registered Dietitian, a Certified Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner, and a Patient Advocate born and raised in NYC. My goal is to empower an army of self-healing advocates who aren’t ashamed of their health.

I am a certified Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner, with a deep understanding of the connection between nutrition and overall wellness.  I am a highly qualified Registered Dietitian with over ten years of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I have worked with over 1000 clients and have helped them to achieve their health and nutrition goals.

I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware, where I also received my RD Degree. I delivered seminars to over 10,000 people, sharing my knowledge and expertise on all aspects of nutrition and healthy living.

Outside of my professional life, I have a range of interests and hobbies. I love to rock out to the Beatles, Lana Del Rey, and Brand New, and enjoy spending time with my close friends. I am also a big fan of tablescaping and interior design, and love to create beautiful and functional table settings. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the museums and parks of New York City and take advantage of all the city has to offer. 

I am passionate about helping others and is dedicated to providing my clients with the tools and guidance they need to lead healthier, happier lives.

I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Sports Medicine, moving on to work as a Cardiac Device Specialist with pacemaker and defibrillator patients. I eventually shifted gears to pursue my lifelong passion for nutrition and fitness. I received my Masters in Nutrition from New York University and became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). 

Throughout many years of research and self-experimentation to fix my own health barriers (SIBO, anxiety, hypothyroid, acne, eating disorder), I've always had the most success when working with a team of providers who truly understood my conditions. It's my passion to be that guidance for you on YOUR health journey! 

Food, movement, and lifestyle habits have a huge impact on our physical and mental health. I understand what it’s like to feel like your body is working against you. My goal is to help you discover how simple and revitalizing it can be to finally work with your body and feel in control of your life again!

I had gained 30 pounds after a very stressful work year which caused me to emotionally eat and ditch my healthy habits (such as going to the gym, preparing my own food, and drinking a lot of water). I had attempted a lot of different things to lose the weight, including Nutrisystem, working with a personal trainer, exercising as much as possible, and joining online challenges (i.e. "DietBet"). At best, I would lose a pound every two weeks. I attributed some of my challenges to my thyroid issue as well, further making my weight loss challenge even more difficult.

After the first consultation with Michelle over the phone, I already felt so much better, therapeutic really, that someone understood what I was going through and that weight loss did not have to be impossible, even with a thyroid condition.

Long story short, in a few months I have lost 30 pounds (and counting!), learned how to eat right, have more energy and sleep better at night.

In addition to the weight loss, my thyroid numbers have miraculously fallen back into a "normal" person's range (which I think is possibly just as incredible), all based on diet alone. Michelle has become not only my dietitian, but my friend.
